Traditional Wallpaper with non-woven backing

Installing Wallpaper has never been easier. Our wallpapers have a non-woven backing, making it very easy to install by simply pasting the adhesive directly onto the wall.

All our wallpapers are finished precisely to have no overlap. Meaning the panels simply butt up to each other for ease of installation.

Surface preparation

Hanging surface must be smooth, undamaged, and free of dirt and moisture.

Thoroughly clean surface of all dirt, grease, and anything that might adversely affect proper installation. Make sure the surface is uniform coloured.

Use a primer on porous and absorbing surfaces.

Adhesive

Always use a wallpaper adhesive that is pre-mixed, designed for non-woven wallpaper.

Apply paste to the wall with a roller. For best results use a lambs wool roller.

Installation

Apply the dry wallpaper to the wall. Use a squeegee to smooth out the length in a vertical direction.

Clean any excess paste from the wallpaper surface with a soft damp sponge.

Cut the strip at the ceiling and the skirting board with a spatula and stanley knife, always move the spatula while keeping the knife in the cut. Apply paste for the next panel.

Simply butt up the next panel to the other for ease of installation.

Yes, this is certainly possible. Our wallpaper panels are 100cm wide, so it is easy to hold and correct the wallpaper panels by yourself.

Apply sufficient wallpaper adhesive and let it work on the wall for a minute.
